PHUKET: Fractional ownership property is causing a stir in the Phuket real estate market, following a year of new launches and enhanced awareness.
Writing for the Phuket Insider.com, Bill Barnett said: “Fractional ownership became an industry talking point on the back of the launch of yooPhuket and the highly publicized Absolute group's vacation ownership projects. Going into a new decade this sector clearly is set to grow.”
He also noted the potential for further hotel-branded developments in the area: “This trend has continued to remain hot despite the cooling off of the broader market. A number of new mixed use projects are in the pipeline which will most likely see the light of day in 2010.”
